Install the WAMPel server and eject the application. El ícono en la barra de tareas permanece naranja y dice “local server: 1 of 2 services in ejecución”. In addition, you may see the phpMyAdmin page in the browser, if you intend to initiate a session, you will see the following error:

#2002 – A connection could not be established because the target machine actively refused it. <br />The server is not responding (or the local server socket is not correctly configured).

He has probado el puerto 80 y obtuve esta respuesta:

***** Test that uses port 80 ***** ===== Tested by netstat command filtered on port 80 ===== Test for TCP Your port 80 is used by a process with PID = 6612 PID 6612 process is ‘httpd.exe’ Session: Services PID 6612 service for ‘httpd.exe’ is ‘wampapache64’ This service is from Wampserver – It is correct Test TCPv6 Your port 80 is used by a process with PID=6612 PID 6612 process is ‘httpd.exe’ Session: Services PID 6612 service for ‘httpd.exe’ is ‘wampapache64’ This service is from Wampserver – It is correct ===== Tested by trying to ‘open a socket on port 80 ===== Your port 80 is currently used by: Server: Apache/2.4.18 (Win64) PHP/5.6.19

Note: If you received the notice from the Windows Firewall after installing WAMP, no access was made to the public and private pages, but not selected.

Thanks !

  • It looks like your MYSQL Service wampmysqld or wampmysqld64 is not started. Look in the mysql error log or the Windows Event Viewer for error messages

Click on the WAMP icon in the web and go to Apache > Service administration and check if the service is installed or not running. Included can resettalarlo eliminándolo e instalándolo new. Haz lo mismo with MySQL. In my case Apache service is not installed and install function. revise the imagen of abajo.

  • If your port is currently in use, try this: stackoverflow.com/questions/34883201/…

    – Ekundayo Blessing Funminiyi

  • Before reinstalling anything, just to be sure Internet Information Services (IIS), the Windows Internet Server, is not running and causing a conflict. Run the command prompt or powershell in administrator mode. Then type “net stop w3svc” without the quotes and press enter. That will stop the Windows World WIde Web Publishing Service. After that try to start all the services again from the WAMP icon.

Most of the answers given on the Internet say to change the port used by Apache but that is not the solution in most of the cases.

Actually, start the WAMP server->right click on the icon -> tools -> use a port other than 3306 -> click on this -> set on 3308.

Hopefully this will resolve the error.

I had the same problem but only Skype was using port 80. I just changed Skype to port 80 and made it use a different one. OR you can change the port 80 used by Apache. To do this go to WAMP -> Apache -> http.conf and change Listen 80 to Listen 81 for example.

  • I changed the port and the service is running, but local host is not found, and phpmyadmin also not found. This is final output — #Listen 12.34.56.78:81 Listen 0.0.0.0:81 —- Listen [::0]:81

The same with me but in my case I installed mysql after installing wampserver so there was a port conflict between the integrated version and the independent version of mysql for the port 3306, so the problem could resolved either by changing one of ports If you want to change wampserver’s mysql’s port go to the taskbar icon right click and the go to tools select: use a port rather than xxxx(3306 in my case)

How to change port number for apache in WAMP

Yarn details below

Just go to the httpd.conf file, e.g. under the WAMP environment, it is located at:

C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.22\conf\httpd.conf

go to line no. 46 and edit Listen 80 as needed e.g.

Listen 8383

newer versions of WAMP use these 2 lines:

Play 0.0.0.0:8383 Play [::0]:8383

Then go to line no. 171 and change ServerName localhost:80 as needed, e.g.

Server name localhost: 8383

Restart Apache and it’s done!!

Now you can access with your URL:

http://localhost:8383 or http://192.168.1.1:8383

Hope this helps people looking for a solution here.

I had the same problem some time ago. I tried all sorts of things and finally found the link below. Basically the problem was:

A setting in your ‘my.ini’ file (C:\Wamp\bin\mysql\mysql<version>) called ‘lower_case_table_names’ If so, comment it out and restart MYSQL again.”

If I remember correctly, a computer also rebooted as well just for good measure.

This might be because php is not working because the default port 80 is taken so u need to change the port follow these steps 1. Click the wamp icon from the bottom right corner 2. Go to Apache->httpd.conf and open this file 3. Search for word Listen in the file and change these two lines Listen 0.0.0.0:8018 (u can use any digits instead of 18 ) Listen [::0]:8018 4. Now search for the word localhost and change this line ServerName localhost:8018 5. Restart wamp 6. Go to your default browser and type http://localhost:8080/ this will open the wamp menu

It’s either your WAMP Apache port is clashing with IIS (if that is installed and running), or MySQL port is clashing with another MySQL install.

Edit your WAMP > Apache > httpd.conf by hovering cursor over Apache inside WAMP tray icon. Change port 80 to an available port like 8181. Restart all services.

I had the same issue, where only 1 service out of 2 was running. But my issue was not a port issue.

I had previously zipped up a bunch of .conf files in the alias directory to share them with a colleague, and I left the .zip file there. This caused an error in Apache as it tried to use the .zip file as an alias.

Once I removed the .zip file from the alias directory, my Apache services were working fine.

Bit of an ‘outside the box’ answer, but this was my issue with the same symptoms!

Maybe it is not a port problem. if you had a problem because msvcr110.dll is missing so after you setup the library you will get this problem service 1 of 2 so in this case you have to reinstall the wamp server.

I had faced similar similar issue where the server was not starting up with the following message – “local server – 1 of 2 services running” , with server icon in Orange color. With nothing updated in the error logs. Finally was able to track issue through –

Wamp server icon -> Apache -> Service Administration ‘wampapache64’ -> install service Error message : WAMP – ‘Your port 80 is actually used – Error’

Resolution : Change the port number of the wamp server to some other number, for example 5050.

Go to: C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.9\conf\httpd.conf

In that file change the listen port to 5050.

#Listen 12.34.56.78:5050

Listen 0.0.0.0:5050

Listen [::0]:5050

Save and Restart. Now you can see the server started successfully with green icon.

Fix WAMP server error: local server – 1 of 2 services running

It’s never fun when your WAMP server is not loading up correctly. Have you ever encountered this error before saying local server – 1 of 2 services running?

2017-08-10_16h28_09

First, let’s check which service isn’t working. I always check Apache first. Left click WAMP server icon and click Service administration.

2017-08-10_16h28_10

If the Apache service is running, we should see the Stop Service option enabled but in this case, it hasn’t even started yet.

2017-08-10_16h28_11

So in order for us to fix this problem, we need to know what is causing this to happen. We can then do the following to know why it’s failing to start to begin with.

  2. The Event Viewer window will open. Click Windows Logs in the left pane, then click Application. You will then see a line with Error. Click on this line to display the details of the error.2017-08-10_16h37_20
  3. This window will appear and explain the error found2017-08-10_16h41_13

Once you are done fixing the problem, try it and restart your WAMP server. If it still doesn’t work, check the event logs again for more details about the error. Once everything has been addressed, your WAMP server should turn GREEN and be working fine.

I am new to wamp servers and trying to install wampServer 3.1.0 on my windows 10 machine .

Somehow it is not installed properly and is having configuration error .

At present “Wamp server is still in orange state and is throwing the error”

2 of 3 services running

As of my understanding either of Apache,MySQl orPHP is not working . On further investigation I found that Apache is ok. But on running mysql.exe(C:\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.19\bin) it is throwing :

ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘localhost’ (10061)

which brings me to SO-32519474, I tried following the steps, but it seems fine in my case. Continuing my research, I find that wampmysqld64 is stopped in services. when I try to restart it I get the erroringrese la descripción de la imagen aquí

I’m stuck here and have no other idea how to fix it

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The 3 services are Apache(wampapache64) MySQL(wampmysqld64) and MariaDB(‘wampmariadb64’) PHP is not running as a service in WAMPServer.

My initial guess would be that you have another MySQL Server installed on this PC and that is started automatically and therefore has grabbed port 3306. Check for another installation of MySQL

@RiggsFolly Thank you. Your comment here sorted me out. I forgot I had installed MySQL from oracle on my PC a few months back. Once I uninstalled that I “restarted all services” in WAMP and the logo is now green and I can log in to phpMyAdmin

  • This did fix my issue but I see php code instead of localhost page (only in Chrome). If I change navigator path inside wampmanager.conf file to edge or IE, it works fine This was after a full re-install of my wamp where I had the same issues but more because when I enabled or disabled/commented out mime_module modules/mod_mime .so Not sure if the two are related but at least it works in Edge

I got to this SOI=35670755 and executed this command

mysqld –initialize

inside (C:\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.19\bin)

this fixed my issue.

If in case you still have issues refer to this post Wamp Server Error [Local Server – 2 of 3 services running]

**Edit:

mysqld –initialize

I faced the same issue , related to MYSQL , If in your system mysql was there, later you installed WAMP then again one MYSQL will install as WAMP package, default port for MYSQL is 3306 , So in both mysql the port will be 3306, which is a port conflict, so just change the port it will work fine. Steps to change the Port.

  1. Right click the icon.
  2. Thing Tool
  3. Change the port in Port used by MySql section.

Your port 3307 is being used by a process with PID=3132 The process for PID 3132 is ‘mysqld.exe’ Session: Services The service for PID 3132 for ‘mysqld.exe’ is ‘MySQL57’ *** ERROR *** This service IS NOT from Wampserver – Should be: ‘wampmysqld64’ or ‘wampmariadb64’

So after killing the process with PID 3132 and restarting WAMP, everything worked fine.

Check if MySQL is open, close it. Go to task manager and end process tree. Now restart wampserver. And then the MySQL (when it turns green). Hopefully it will work! As it happens, wampserver uses the same port as MySQL, therefore, the mysql service is unable to run when MySQL is running.

Adding to the answer above:

In my case was the Apache Service.

  1. So I clicked the Wamp icon, then Apache > Service administration ‘wampapache64’ > Install Service.
  2. Then again Wamp icon, then Apache > Service administration ‘wampapache64’ > Start Service.
  3. And finally Wamp icon > Restart All Services.

If Install Service is not working just open your task manager and see if apache is already running and if so, just end those processes and then follow the answer above.

For me, this issue occurred when I first used WAMP 10 mins ago.

In case someone had the same issue as me, my solution was the following:

  • Click the WAMP icon and simply Start All Services

solución

worked like a charm.

One simple way, and very effective, is to change the port used by MySQL from 3306 to 3308.

That is, right-click on the Icon tray, go to tools, navigate to the Port used by MySQL and click on “use a port other than 3308”. Click OK when the message appears.

Open your MySQL log through the Wampserver icon in your taskbar. It shows the error that is preventing the service from starting. Chances are the error is due to the port being used by some other program. Now all you need to do is run MySQL on some port other than the one your computer is trying (and failing) to use. Do this by right clicking on the Wampserver icon (in your taskbar), going to MySQL and clicking on “Use a port other than __”. Type in a port that is not being used by any service. Type netstat -an in your command prompt to see all the ports that are being used. Your new port should be such that it is not present here. The icon should go green now.

I had just updated my wamp server manager to version 3.2.2 After trying @Robbie Jackson’s answer, the report generated showed that MariaDB service was not existingAccéder à la description de l'image ci-dessus so I installed the service via the wamp server panel and then started the service after and got greens!!

Actually I had this issue today. None of the above solutions worked for me, but I have managed to solve it finally.

I chose in the installer to install MySQL 5.x and it did not work as services couldn’t run.

I have reinstalled wampserver and in the installer I asked to install MySQL 8.x version. Afterwards there was still an issue with 2 services running out of 3.

I opened services.msc and found wampapache64 and it was not running. I clicked to run it. Afterwards I clicked on Wampserver icon and chose ‘restart all services’ and it worked like a charm!

I tried several of the answers above, reinstalling wampserver64 did, but the error came back. Finally, I used MySQL Installer – Community to upgrade the MySQL toolset. Then I restarted wampserver64 and “wampmysqld64” remained active, hope this continues.

The answer to the problem is to click on the wampserver on the right side where you normally check your battery status and after that it will show a lot of details and at the bottom you will see tools go to your tools and click on reinstall all services and that’s it.

Hope this is helpful.
