August 1, 202November 11, 2021 / By Vivek Chaudhary

Sometimes you come across an error message on Instagram that says “ Sorry, this page is not available. ”. This usually happens when you visit someone’s profile, open an Instagram post or link in a web browser. Getting an error on the screen is one of the most annoying things that can happen to anyone. It’s a headache to figure out why the error occurred and then how you can fix it.

Fix Sorry this page is not available on Instagram

Now, if we talk about this particular error message, it says “Sorry, this page is not available” which means the web page you are trying to access does not exist. The message further mentions that the link you followed may be broken or the page may have been deleted. It’s also possible that you entered the wrong username/profile link, or that the page you are looking for has been deleted.

There are several reasons why Instagram page is broken or unavailable. If you’re trying to access a profile and you get this error message, chances are the user has blocked you. Apart from this, it is also possible that the user has deactivated or deleted their account. If it’s an Instagram post you’re trying to open, it may be deleted or archived. Basically, there are many reasons that can make me regret that this page is not available on Instagram. In this guide, we’ll help you find out why this error occurred and how you can fix it.

  • 1. You have been blocked by the user
  • 2. The message you are looking for is deleted
  • 3. Instagram banned the user
  • 4. Account is deactivated or deleted
  • 5. Username is changed

1. You have been blocked by the user

The most common reason why Instagram shows this error is that it was blocked by the user whose profile you are trying to open. When you are blocked, Instagram does not allow you to access the user’s profile. You can’t even find it in search, subscriber list, direct message and anywhere else. If you remember the username and try to visit the profile from its link, you will get the error “sorry, this page is not available on Instagram”.

It is not necessary that the user has blocked you because Instagram does not notify you when someone blocks you. There is an easy way to confirm this. To find out if you’ve been blocked, search for the user’s profile from another account. If you can find it from there and not from your account, chances are you have been blocked by that user. You can’t do anything to unblock yourself. However, if you want to fix the “Sorry, this page is not available” error and view the user’s profile, you need to use another Instagram account for that.

2. The message you are looking for is deleted

If you open a post on Instagram’s website and you see the error that this page is not available, chances are that post has been deleted or archived. There are basically two reasons why a message gets deleted. Either the user/admin deleted it themselves for some reason or Instagram deleted the post due to policy violations. Once the message is deleted, you can no longer see it. Instagram will keep showing this error every time you try to open the post with its link.

3. Instagram banned the user

Instagram may have banned the user. Also in this case you will get an error like Sorry, this page is not available when you try to visit their profile. When a user is banned, Instagram temporarily and sometimes permanently deletes their account and profile. This usually happens when someone repeatedly violates Instagram’s policies. You will get this error until Instagram lifts the user account restriction.

4. Account is deactivated or deleted

5. Le nom d’utilisateur est modifié

It is also possible that the username you are trying to access has been changed. This can also cause sorry this page isn’t available error. Instagram allow users to change their username any number of times. When someone does this, their old username no longer works. To fix this issue, you simply need to find the new username to which the account is shifted. Search the user by name on Instagram, or find him in your direct message or followers/following list.

Fix Facebook broken link preview

(The steps below also apply if Facebook is showing the wrong link image thumbnail.)

Sometimes when you share content on Facebook, you will find that the link preview breaks like this:

Here are the steps to fix it:

1. Visit the Facebook Debug Tool:

2. Paste the problem link and click the Debug button . The debugger will return whatever information it has in the URL and will likely include an error.

3. Click the Scratch Again button  .

The debugger should now return more information about your site and also show a functional preview of the link. Go back to Facebook and share your link again. The link preview should now work as expected.

Why did this happen?

Sometimes when Facebook visits a site to preview, it does not preview properly. Facebook caches all the information it can get about the URL (it temporarily stores the information in memory). The next time the link is shared, Facebook uses the cached information and an incomplete or broken preview is displayed. The steps above instruct Facebook to delete the cached information and visit the site again.

There are many reasons why Facebook may not display a preview correctly, the most common reason being a temporary connectivity error (the path between Facebook and the site was blocked) or the site was temporarily unavailable (plug-in error). in, in the middle of the app). updates, etc).
